What a great mini-vacation. It looks beautiful. I love the bronze statue.
Sounds great!!! I'm glad you had a great time...
that is great! too bad she couldn't make some progress on your sock for you!
Wow, that place sounds amazing, something for everyone, really. And that photo of the bronze lady not working on your sock is hilarious!
Ha! Nice statue - freaked me out at first!
Looks and sounds like an awesome place.
Hey, I get second sock syndrome too!
Jill
that statue is funny! looks like you had a great getaway.
Looks like loads of fun. That bronze statue is too funny. Does someone change her towel everyday? From my experience it is hard to get a bronze statue to do much of anything really much less finish knitting the second sock. They are lazy, lazy!
It's hard to beat that SSS! What a cool place for a vacation...thanks for sharing your pix with us.
i was at nemacolin in the middle of winter. i looked out the window and saw the bathing beauty in 3 inches of snow but didn't realize she was bronze. i thought she was just a crazy tourist. glad you had a good time. i had no idea there were so many activities.
LOL I love that you posed her with knitting! :)
I love that picture! How funny. Glad it was a great time!
What a great place!! I really want to go, PA's not THAT far.
Love the shot of your knitting sunbather.
Posing the statue with knitting was clever! Looks like a great vacation and very beautiful! Glad you had fun.
You've got to finish the sock, that yarn is too gorgeous for just a single!
Love the bronze!
Nemacolin is amazing, my bank account is still recovering from a recent visit there--hope you gave yourself the spa treatment there!
It sounds like you had a great time and so much to do! I love that photo--too funny!
Your version of that bronze statue is so funny. At first I was kind of worried because she looked so life like and had such a bad case of sun burn :)
I need one of those for my pool side chairs - we all burn - arg!!
In the first photo of the statue, I thought that the only thing missing was the knitting. I mean, don't we all knit as we lounge in the sun? Sounds like a fun place to visit.
That place looks so fun. I have never been. I should go!
looks like so much fun, i totally wish we had something like that in Ontario! We would love it.
Sounds like a beautiful place... what a cool pic with the statute and your sock.
It's good to know that even statues have Second Sock Syndrome! Great pic!!
To bad she couldn't knit up your sock ;) I've nominated you for the Rockin' Girl Blogger :) More in my blog ;)
Have a great weekend!
what a fun little getaway! family bike rides are some of my fondest memories...we have not had one since 2003 on nantucket in the freezing cold! now get that bronze lady to finish those socks!
wow. reading that activity list makes me want to be on holidays. now. glad your time was good!
We went to Nemacolin Resort last summer and it was bliss! I loved the spa and oh it was wonderful - your post about it takes me there again. We stayed at the Chateau and my son had the best time oohing and ahhing over our room.
Now I bet you feel refreshed for more of summer's fun.
I'm glad you enjoyed your time there. I love the bathing bronze statue! How I long to have a one week break from work. I miss exploring all the marvelous beaches at the Panama City Beach. Vacation rentals there are incredibly cheap! Hopefully, I could go on a vacation soon.
