prepster

I ordered this yarn from Scout back in February. It was a custom order for Libby who wanted socks in pink, green and yellow. Her favorite colors.
So, the cold feet, are now covered. Finally.
I don't know why, but I had the hardest time working on these. Maybe it was the 2x2.
Libby adores them, and already has in mind how she will wear them.
They will certainly be a welcome addition to her fall wardrobe.
Here is the skinny:
Pattern: On-your -toe socks from summer 2007 Interweave Knits:
Yarn: one skein Prepster, scouts swag
Needles: size 3 double pointed
Notes: First time working from the toe up. It took me two hours to figure out how to do the
middle east wrap method!

Cute cute cute! I love these socks... especially with the boots. They look like futuristic converse sneakers. Very nice!

As everyone before me (and certainly after as well), I have to echo the sentiment that these are too freakin' cute!! My daughter would love them too, and I CANNOT believe that it only took one skein of Scout's! I have three skeins in my stash to use up... Do I have toe-ups in my future?! Oh wait, I might even have some sKNITches that daughter's picked out!
I made your gingersnaps this weekend - I needed a little holiday spirit, I guess - they're the best gingers I've had. My kids adored them.

Oh Man, those are awesome! Truly are!

I'm not much of a sock knitter but I think I better start because I'd love socks like these!

Thanks,
Jill

OK. All the adjectives that spring to mind have been used so let's have a go at brilliant, magnificent, and delightfully effervescent!

Diggin' the photo shoot showcase too.

An appropriate name since it did seem to keep you on your toes. They are really nice socks and I absolutely love the colourway. Libby has some snazzy footwear too.

The socks look great! I really like that colorway. I have never tried toe up socks because I'm a bit scared of the cast on.

Nice shoes Libby!! Love the green hightops.

I have yet to conquer socks. They look so tedious, and I'm afraid that I will get hopelessly lost in them. But, those are so cute (and I especially love Libby's choice in sneakers.)

Adorable! How lovely to have a child with such flair for fashion. Enjoy the benfits. As for the middle eastern cast on, it took me for ever to get that down also. Finally found a great one at Hello Yarn.
