It's a beautiful sweater, so good luck getting through all of the ribbing. From what I've seen, it will definitely be worth it.

I'm knitting it in Silky Wool. I'm up to the cable yoke, but I'm waiting to dive in until after the kids are back in school since that part requires concentration. I have to admit that it's a very boring knit until that point. This is one that I'm knitting for the end result, not for the process.

I'm knitting that sweater too! The ribbing about ended it for me, it was soooooooooooooo boring. I'm on sleeve number one and have to put it down and pick something else up often. I can't wait to get to the top and see how the intricate detail works up. What yarn are you using? It's beautiful.

I love anything lemon it's my weakness indeed! Your peppermint baking pieces were my thing over the holidays. It's a good thing they aren't available all year! Good thing is you only need a few at a time.

I am making the twisted cable hat that you just made. I don't understand this increase round. Is it that you make 2 M1 stitches in a row or do you do the whole round twice? Sorry to bother you on this .. I am in Puerto Vallarta and I have ripped it out several times.

your tangled yolk is off to a great start...i love that color of grey...grey is truly my fave neutral! those lemony snickets are really addictive! i kinda ate a few too many...so it will be a little while before i make more!

The tangled yoke looks like the kind of sweater that becomes a staple in the wardrobe. Soft and snuggly and very classic. And that color is wonderful. Keep knitting... we'll cheer you on!

I like any cookie with lemon in it. The pistachio lemon trees are my traditional Christmas cookie. It's not really a Christmas cookie, perse; but, it's the only time I make it. Huh. I think everyone who casts on for the TY talks about it being something of a slog when they first cast on. You'll find the mojo again. Happy New Year!

The Tangled Yoke gets much faster after the ribbing. You zoom through all that stockinette and join the sleeves, and suddenly, you're ready for cable fun!

I've seen this sweater all over the place and it seems like I hear the same thing: that it's slow going at first but it picks up... I'm sure you'll love it when you get further along.
