time

Where does the time go? I just can't believe another week has flown by.  I am still without a car, (fly wheel, transmission) and you would think with all of this idle time I would be cranking out projects.  But, no.  For some reason, I am a little less productive.  I just don't get it.
I did manage to finish, block and sew the buttons on my tangled yoke.  Hopefully this weekend I will get some action shots.
Of course, there has been baking.  A lot of it actually.  These are actually chewy chunky blondies.  However they are missing the butterscotch chips, the nuts, and the coconut. I didn't have those ingredients on hand and without the car.....you get it. They were delicious, however, I think they would be unbelievable with all of the ingredients.

Happy Weekend!

  6. it's funny, but when I have limited time, I manage to get everything done - with too much time, nothing gets done! maybe it's us thinking we have all the time in the world, so why rush?

  8. The tangled yoke is a darling sweater. Well worth all the slogging to get it done you did a marvelous job.

Those blondies are making my mouth water. I have yet to try a recipe for them but they always look so good.

You know I find it hard to post when I haven't got any knitting to report, makes me feel too guilty. I have been doing some home staging. It is making it feel alot cozier.

That sweater is awesome and the yarn is perfection. I bet you'll be wearing it this weekend. I wish I could come over to see you and eat a brownie. Happy weekend, Leslie.

  35. The tangled yoke is beautiful. The buttons add to the sweater without taking away from the amazing yoke. I am a fairly novice knitter just tackling my first pair of socks. I am not holding my breath, though, as they may take quite some time to finish.

  36. Leslie, you totally kill me--to anyone else finishing the TYC would be a 'shout it from the mountain tops' moment!!

  37. The stationary shot of TY is beautiful, so I am sure the action shot is going to be awe-inspiring. And brownies, or blondies rather....I love blondies (more than brownies, actually)especially when there is all sorts of good stuff mixed in...hungry now.

  38. Mmmm, blondies are a fave of mine (probably the browned sugar/butter taste...mmmm).

Your tangled yoke looks so wonderful. It makes me want to knit my own... Wish I had the yarn in my stash!!

I know what you mean about feeling like you should be cranking out the projects. For myself, I find that if I don't have a routine to follow (along with those deadlines) I don't seem to be as productive! It really is odd in a way...

    Have a wonderful weekend, Leslie!
