Made my first pair! More are sure to come because everyone now wants their own. I followed your instructions only I used different yarn - the Luxury Tweed eggplant color from Debbie Bliss for the main color and a light purple Luxury Tweed color for the trim (for the last row and binding off). Love them. What a great project. Thank you, Leslie and Scout.

  33. I cast on for Toasty this weekend. I'm excited to finish them for a weekend cabin trip. They'll be perfect for fall knitting outside. Just wanted to mention that the Toasty PDF says to cast on 34 inches. I think it's supposed to say 34 stitches! :)

  37. emily just emailed me and said she is casting on your toast to knit during grey's anatomy. So of course, I had to come see if you were now into knitting food, or I had missed something really good. I'm so going to the yarn store tomorrow and making me some toast too, because I love them, because my shirt sleeves are never long enough after the first washing, and because I have a love/hate relationship with dps and maybe this will help heal that! :)

  38. Dear Friend, Thanks for posting the pattern for Toasty. I LOVE them. I was going to make my sister a neck thing (scarf), but didn't have the right gauge needles, so started these. I am going to have to buy new yarn for my sister because I am going to have to keep these! I love the Libby sweater too, although I just have boys. Maybe next year they'll all get family-photo-sweaters!

I want to make the toast ones. I have yet to make anything for myself. I learned to knit recently and have made things for everyone else :) I have not yet knitted with double point needles though, so hopefully I can figure it out!

Hi, Thanks to the toast pattern I am learning to knit - finally! I am really enjoying it. I decided to progress onto the toasty pattern and think I did it OK, but now I have gone abck to do the thumb hole and have no yarn from which to knit! What have I done wrong? I slipped 4 stitches onto a scrap piece of yarn and then carried on but now, I realised I must have done something wrong. Can you help? Thanks Vicky
