what a week

It's friday already? What a week, huh!
On tuesday night, we ate dinner around the coffee table in the family room. Chicken noodle soup with sleeves of Ritz crackers. We watched as states filled with blue and red and history was made.  I am sure MLK was smiling.
I made Erin's hat.  1 ball Zitron Loft from the stash.  A great pattern, perfectly written, and cute to boot!  I think I will have one on the needles from now until Christmas.  Rose Hill hats for everyone.
And the cookie.  This is the second week I made Sandy's delicious cookie.  Cute as a button, huh?!

Have yourself a wonderful weekend!

  13. Funny how a change in colour can make all the difference. I was a bit "meh" about this pattern when I first saw it, but I LOVE it in brown. Also, I think your bobbles are a bit bigger which I like.

You're right about the world cheering on Tuesday night. I know we were, here in Canada!

  23. I'm so glad you liked them, Leslie.
The hat is really pretty. The bobbles scare me though.....but the pattern did seem to describe them well. I would love to make one of these this year....if I can muster up the courage I will try it.

What a week indeed! I love seeing this hat all over the neighborhood. I seriously need to make it.

I got a stewing hen from the farmers maket and made chicken soup last night and it was delicious. And more apple pie. That's a whole 'nother story though. :)
