love the color!
Too big or not it still looks fab!
Ooo, I like it.
OOOOOOh, girl. Looks fabulous from this side of the computer screen! Get busy blocking...can't wait to see it when you're happy with it, cause it already looks great!
D'oh! Looks like it's going to be great, though. :)
beautiful sweater!!! Love the color!!!
Love the sweater! Just recently started following your blog. What pattern is that? I think the fit and color are great.
Looks perfect as is, but can't wait to see it when you think it's perfect. Seems like you just finished Plisse -- fast knitter you!
LOVE the color!
I do love it!
Well, I like what I see so far!
I don't have a clue what you're talking about but the sweater looks very nice. Of course, it could just be the model.....?
Well this is interesting. I didn't know that something could be too tight and then blocking it could make it fit. How can that be? Not that I don't believe you, I am just trying to understand how it could get any bigger, is it because you get it wet and that makes the yarn stretch more? Can you tell that I have no blocking experience? Beautiful sweater btw.
Take one is looking beautiful. I am loving the pattern and the colour is so striking. I can't wait to see Take Two.
I don't think you have to change a thing! Looks fabulous!
How funny...I read "Take One" as if you were offering something. In that case, absolutely! I will take one in that exact shade. It's beautiful. But what does that leave for all the rest of your faithful followers?
Absolutely beautiful color and quite stunning! Here's to the perfect fit. :) See ya soon on your return.Peace out!
From what I can tell, it looks terrific as is!
oh no! that yarn does block considerably. ...but, i'm excited to see you wearing the finished sweater :)
oh love it. yes i have done that, and i did not realize there was a way to fix it!
ouch! it's too pretty to be too big!all the best!
it still looks so good on you. i can't wait to see how it looks after re-blocking!
Well, you look pretty darn good in it already. Love the intense color!Happy knitting-ali
I'd say yes, but everything that I've made that I thought was too small was way TOO small. I have a sweater that I still need to redo, because I decided I didn't need to check gauge at all and my row gauge was so off that it doesn't hit my belly button!
my hat goes off to you blocking!! I am kind of the anti blocker... I would love to hear any blocking tips you have.
Been there, done that! But it will be lovely.
love the colour and the shape and the little details!
that color is beautiful! can't wait to hear about it.
lovely sweater! what one is this?
oh no!!! but I am already ooooing and ahhhing over it. The color is fab! Can't wait to see it again
It looks great. Love the colour!
pleaaaaalease share color info and pattern availability. It looks marvelous on. Can't imagine re-sizing it. good luck.
It looks great & I love the color great job
Oh, so pretty. I really like the sleeves! ~KellyunDeniably Domestic
big or small, it still looks amazing! i love that indigo color!
Yep, totally. Luckily, over-blocking is reversible! For the record, I think it looks pretty nice as is!
It looks great. I made your Toast and Toasty gloves this past month. Love them! I'd love to try a sweater this winter! Thanks for the inspiration.
Looks beautiful to me. Love the color too!!Suzanne
oooLaLa I love the color and I think it looks great. Good luck re-blocking , but again I think it looks great.
i seem to knit too big.gorgeous color.
Simply, irresistibly gorgeous!
The color is gorgeous. the style of the sweater suits you so well. can't wait to hear about how you re-blocked it. and will you please include some instruction on how to to this for those of us who haven't a clue.
it looks great! and what a beautiful color!!
Oh, sister. I do that so often! Still, it looks awesome, even though your protectively crossed arms keep us from seeing some of it ;)That navy is so nice and bright! Or is it a rich, dark purple. Either way... super awesome.
Beautiful color. Good luck with the blocking, how very frustrating!
Oooh - Everything about it is beautiful - design, color, yarn, style. Good luck with the reblocking. When I block something too big (or knit it too big) I'm always pleasantly surprised that I'm not quite as big as my distorted mind thinks I am. Teehee.
looks beautiful! haven't seen any of your projects look less than beautiful. perfect choice for you. I'm with larissa...can you explain the re-blocking process to us?
I think that it looks great! I usually make things that are too big and can't block them smaller. :)
Love the book AND the cover! That was one of my favorites from childhood!
I need to get more information about online friends through your blog. You can visit us to get more information about online friends through our online community.Indian Online Friends CommunitySocial Networking WebsitePart Time Jobs Online
I love it as is - perhaps I like mine roomier than yours. I am a far more basic knitter than you, but I'm on a roll and think perhaps I'd even give this a shot. Looking forward to more details!
I don't know - I think it looks very nice - love the color and 3/4 length sleeves.
Pretty much every time, sadly. But I think yours looks beautiful, and now I want one. Of course.
Love that book cover. My mom was a librarian when we still lived in the Czech Republic...she used to always cover my books with brown paper and carefully in perfect penmanship write the title on the cover. Books were so expensive and precious there...your book cover made me think of her doing that to my books. Hope you are having a wonderful summer.
The color looks great on your skin and I like the ribbing detail. I hope it comes out to your expectations when you reblock it.I recently crocheted a shrug, which I thought was too small, so I added some width to the panels. I saw the pattern author in public wearing the shrug yesterday and comparing the two, mine bigger than what the pattern is mean to be!
i say the sweater big or tight is gorgeous, and where did you get all these followers? OMG there are a lot of us that love your blog site.
Thanks for the smart critique. Me & my neighbour had been getting ready to do a little analysis about that. We got a superb e book on that matter from our local library and most books where not as influensive as your information. I'm very glad to see such data which I used to be searching for an extended time. This made very glad! Anyway, in my language, there will not be a lot good source like this.
Thank you for the sensible info. I was preparing to do some research about that. Even got a good magazine on that matter but the info was not as influensive as your post. I am very glad I found it. keep up the good work!
Can I make a suggestion? I think youve got something good here. But what if you happen to added a couple links to a page that backs up what youre saying? Or perhaps you could possibly give us something to take a look at, something that might join what youre saying to one thing tangible? Just a suggestion. Anyway, in my language, there will not be much good supply like this.
Completely understand what your stance on this matter. Although I'd disagree on a number of the finer details, I think you probably did an awesome job explaining it. Certain beats having to analysis it on my own. Thanks. Anyway, in my language, there aren't much good source like this.
