  1. I had to read that title twice before it could sink in: over two feet of snow?!? I've been in your town during very snowy weather before, but I must say...never like that. Are the kids losing their minds?

  3. I'm just north of Pgh & we have about 24 inches. Our power was out for 28 hrs...brrr! It certainly got cold in the house, down to about 45 degrees. We bundled in as many socks, sweaters & blankets as we could.

    Those cinnamon buns look delicious!

  29. I have the book but haven't tried the buns yet - they look so heavenly that I can't imagine what keeps distracting me from doing it. Definitely time to dust it off and give it a go. Looks like the perfect companion to a 'bit' of snow (yikes!).

  33. holy moly! that is a lot of snow! It is so strange that here is maine our snow is almost gone! that is never the case in Feb. i am sure more is to come.

  34. I kind of wish to have that much snow up here, though I'm sure our dog would go mad as I decided that walking for hours was no longer a good time. I have such fond blizzard memories. If you are prepared, they are an excellent time!

  36. there is snow in the forecast for us tomorrow- but only 6-10". it will be our highest snowfall this season! yikes, we're really behind the east coast. enjoy the goodness inside while the kids enjoy the goodness outside.

  39. when someplace gets more snow than wisconsin it makes me laugh...but only on the inside. I think it comes from years of abuse..."where do you live..
    and ummmm, why?" and then a small snort with their nose that they think I can't hear....

  40. Oh, the best!! I got to go to the snowy mountains this weekend and it was wonderful. With tons of snow it's so fun outside, but when you get cold, the inside seems so much warmer and cozier. And I bet delish cinnamon buns taste even better!
