more of the same

I knew of someone that would love a thorpe. So, I made her one. I know you've seen this pattern a bunch, but I just had to show this color combo. I love it so. I think this yarn is perfect for this project. (Priced right, too.) Color combo: Admiral and Tree Frog.
There has been a lot of baking going on around here. I think I could make chocolate chip cookies in my sleep. I wonder if I will ever forget the recipe.
I have a container filled with those, as we are headed out of town for the weekend. A little skiing while the snow is so awesome. Yarn is packed for fingerless mitts and I think I shall cast on for a new project.
Have a wonderful weekend!

The colors and design on Thorpe are great!

I looked up your new project you are fixing to cast on for, and I was surprised it wasn't a coat! Can't wait to see the yarn color you pick out for that one AND how the neck turns out.

Oh, have so much fun on your trip. To be able to do that would be such a joy. Come sun, come warmth, come flowers... ~Jan

Have a wonderful trip - we had snow falling one day, still on the ground the next then "poof" gone . . .

Love the hat. Enjoy your ski weekend. Sounds perfect (well, the lodge with cocoa and knitting sounds great...).

I'm so glad I'm such a Leslie copier. The Thorpe I made for my son is his favorite thing ever. Did I tell you he wore it WET to school he was so desperate to have it? (He's a weirdo. I probably have mentioned that.) A-ny-way... what was I saying? Geez. There I go, CUI (commenting under the influence) again... In my defense, it's Thursday. Also? I just cleaned up after the faculty appreciation dinner. With the mean moms. It was very hard. I coulda been knitting, was all I kept thinking...

I love the hat! I wish the weather here was still chilly enough to wear such a pretty hat!

Can't get much better....that satisfied feeling when your project turns out just right...and warm chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven. I love it for you :)

i wanted to bake cookies today, just to eat the dough! Then I realized that we have two batches in the freezer to eat first. Chocolate chip my first choice!

The hat, especially with your color combination, is darling. Your new project is great. I'd like to have that sweater too. I started looking more closely at the pattern for the Francis Revisited sweater and noticed a lot of knitting acronyms I have yet to learn. Slowly, but surely... Enjoy your skiing and cookies.

They are the perfect colours together aren't they!

Thank you for reminding me about Thorpe! My brother has requested a specific kind of hat and I think the Thorpe pattern will be perfect. Yours is gorgeous! The color combo is lovely.

Have fun on your ski trip!

Oh, I love the colors used in this Thorpe! Very pretty. I plan to make ONE more Thorpe and then I'm on to a new Springtime top for myself.

Wouldn't it be awesome to actually bake in our sleep, so we could wake up to a kitchenful of cookies... and just as I would be about to take that scrumptious first bite, the alarm clock would go off...

Love the hat!

I have my chocolate chip cookie recipe memorized, too. Thorpe is amazing! Have a great skiing trip!!!

Oh! I'm afraid that I'm going to have to copy you. I have some left over Karabella yarn in both of those colors and my fingers just about know the Thorpe hat by heart, so here I go....right after I finish the other ten projects I have going.

Hi! Your knitting is byoootiful!!! How do you make your Thorpe not come out to be humongous? I made mine the medium but it's coming out really big on the nines.

Can I make a suggestion? I think youve got something good here. But what if you happen to added a couple links to a page that backs up what youre saying? Or perhaps you could possibly give us something to take a look at, something that might join what youre saying to one thing tangible? Just a suggestion. Anyway, in my language, there will not be much good supply like this.
