I knew of someone that would love a thorpe. So, I made her one. I know you've seen this pattern a bunch, but I just had to show this color combo. I love it so. I think this yarn is perfect for this project. (Priced right, too.) Color combo: Admiral and Tree Frog.
There has been a lot of baking going on around here. I think I could make chocolate chip cookies in my sleep. I wonder if I will ever forget the recipe.

I have a container filled with those, as we are headed out of town for the weekend. A little skiing while the snow is so awesome. Yarn is packed for fingerless mitts and I think I shall cast on for a new project.
Have a wonderful weekend!

The colors and design on Thorpe are great!

I looked up your new project you are fixing to cast on for, and I was surprised it wasn't a coat! Can't wait to see the yarn color you pick out for that one AND how the neck turns out.

Oh, have so much fun on your trip. To be able to do that would be such a joy. Come sun, come warmth, come flowers... ~Jan

  14. I'm so glad I'm such a Leslie copier. The Thorpe I made for my son is his favorite thing ever. Did I tell you he wore it WET to school he was so desperate to have it? (He's a weirdo. I probably have mentioned that.) A-ny-way... what was I saying? Geez. There I go, CUI (commenting under the influence) again... In my defense, it's Thursday. Also? I just cleaned up after the faculty appreciation dinner. With the mean moms. It was very hard. I coulda been knitting, was all I kept thinking...

  18. The hat, especially with your color combination, is darling. Your new project is great. I'd like to have that sweater too. I started looking more closely at the pattern for the Francis Revisited sweater and noticed a lot of knitting acronyms I have yet to learn. Slowly, but surely... Enjoy your skiing and cookies.

Or perhaps you could possibly give us something to take a look at, something that might join what youre saying to one thing tangible? Just a suggestion. Anyway, in my language, there will not be much good supply like this.
