hello august

I love August and its lazy days.
(These would be cute to try to make.)
No rushing.
Nowhere we have to be. (Except school on the 25th. Shhhh.)
The abundance of color.
Plum being a favorite.
Story telling. Of places and the people that live there.

Happy August!

Happy August to you also. Love the photo of the green doors. I think August is a good knitting month as the summer is starting to wind down and fall projects are on our minds.

Happy August to you too! As much as I complain in June about how we are still in school, I love going back in September.

I love doors. I spent years traveling around and just taking photos of doors. I feel like they could open into ANYTHING!

Colors! YES. Here are my plums - which I'm waiting on!

Great pics that tell a story without words! I get a little antsy in August because I start feeling like it's deadline time... the end of summer, oh, no! (Even though I don't really like summer. I know - it doesn't make sense, but there you go. That's me. Full of non-sense, in every sense of that word.)

I LOVE September. (Especially the part where the kids go away and leave me alone. But also the colors and the light and the crisp air... and the leaving me alone thing...)

I've been dawdling a lot lately and I think August will be a great month to flat out relax, sleep late and eat well and worry about nothing. September will be here soon enough! Happy August.
