WHOOPS!

Sh*%$#!, S*&$#!, Sh$@%!

I woke up this morning to an email from my new sweet friend, Nigel. I made an error while writing the recipe. I SO apologize to anyone who has already tried them. I have changed it below, however, while adding the 1/2 cup of flour at a time, add 2 cups more. (NOT 1).
Please accept my apology.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Maybe you should just say the measurements are the april fool's joke. =) I love google reader and the way I can email posts to myself so I've just resent the recipe. No need to apologize. Have a great day! ~Leslie

  2. Funny, I actually made them yesterday as they sounded so delicious. And a cup of flour short, they were still good cookies. :) Thx for the recipe.

  3. I printed off the recipe, without reading through it, to make in a week for a family gathering at the beach, so no harm done here. They do sound/look yummy, so am looking forward to making/tasting them!:-)

These things happen, don't be too hard on yourself. But thanks for the correction. I am going to make them for my students in our Thursday night graduate class.

  8. I was making this recipe yesterday, and with a cup of flour extra couldn't figure out how you were supposed to roll that sticky dough into balls. Also the 1 cups extra in the recipe made me think something was wrong. I hopped onto google reader and saw the post and everything made sense. And the cookies were delicious.

  13. Man, I make mistakes all the time and NEVER bring flowers.

These sugar cookies have several names written all over them (namely those of my three children. okay, and mine.)
