the cookie + the project

Saturday, February 28, 2015

I was in a hurry this week because of our Chicago trip, so I used the recipe box in my brain.  We never tire of this bite of deliciousness.
And finally I have cast on once again for a sweater.  It feels so good to be working on smaller needles and a bigger project.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  5. Good morning Leslie.
Oh that's great that you are making a sweater!
Im now working on the "slouchy cardigan" since Ive finished with all my Christmas knitting. I finished my first sock ever! Lol
Its also a slouchy sock and Ive started the matching one. Of course I didn't begin with a simple sock pattern, but used one that I saw somewhere and ended up ordering the book to make it. I was the one who said I'll never make socks, but this pattern changed my mind! It really isn't so bad using multiple needles, in fact I find it refreshing after having finished a few cowls at Christmas. Lol I needed a change I suppose. Anyways, I am up to the beginning of the armholes on the slouchy sweater, and I am loving seeing the progress. Mine is a baby blue colour in Rowans' "calmer series". I found it on sale last year and apparently it is discontinued now. Hope you are having a great weekend and it was so good to come over and see how you are doing and what you've been up to!

    All my heart,
    Deborah xoxo

  7. Und schließlich habe ich auf einmal für einen Pullover zu werfen. Es fühlt sich so gut an, auf Nadel und einem größeren Projekt arbeiten.

I recently finished this sweater, and I LOVE it. My Ravelry name is Debbieamy if you want to check out my finished sweater. It is not a very good picture because I had to photograph it on the bed. I am very not good at selfies, and my husband was out of town.
